San Diego Wave FC kicked off their 2026 campaign with a public fan event at Balboa Park’s Spreckels Organ Pavilion on 10 March, unveiling players and new captains ahead of Saturday’s season opener, according to The Daily Aztec.
The evening function, presented by Invisalign and sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, mixed player introductions with family activities, photo stations and giveaways, The Daily Aztec reported.
Supporters arrived early, many in Wave colours, for a chance to meet the squad and get a first look at what the club says will shape the new season.
